Keep Pulse Oxymeter in Proper Condition in Hospitals

Bhopal: The Health Department has reviewed infectious diseases like swine flu, dengue and chikungunya again today. Director Dr. K.L. Sahu has told all the Chief Medical and Health Officers of the state to ensure good condition of pulse oxymeters in swine flu OPDs. Moreover, he told the officers to identify the infection of H-1 and N- 1 at the earliest to cure patients.

A total of 12 dengue tests were carried out today in the state and dengue was confirmed in one patient in Bhopal. The patient belongs to Kota of Rajasthan. Medical treatment is being given to the patient in the local hospital. Similarly, chikungunya has also been confirmed in one patient at Bhopal. Total 5 cases of suspected swine flu have been sent for test. One female patient died due to swine flu yesterday.-WTN
