Villagers give suggestions for total development to Public Relations minister Dr. Mishra

Bhopal: Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr Narottam Mishra met villagers in remote village Hanautiya of Datia district and collected information about their problems. Dr Mishra said that approach road to village Hanautiya will be constructed. Public Relations minister reached the village by a tractor in difficult area, crossing Sindh river. Village people gave suggestions for total development of the region, welcoming Minister Dr. Mishra.

Treatment of children suffering with Thalassemia in Delhi on Public Relations Minister's initiative

 Children suffering with Thalassemia will be provided treatment in Delhi hospital thanks to efforts by Dr Narottam Mishra. Some children suffering with the disease were brought to Delhi today from Datia. The reason of this genetic disease is that both parents are suffering with Thalassemia minor. The disease is not transmitted to next generation in case one of both parents is suffering with Thalassemia minor. Families can be saved from this serious disease requiring huge cost of treatment, by undertaking examination of Thalassemia minor before marriage.

 Dr. Mishra made efforts for creating awareness in public through drama staged in Datia and other districts in earlier years. For permanent treatment of the disease, bone marrow transplant is a treatment procedure. The facility of this treatment is available at two-three places in India.-WTN
