Loktantra Rakshaks and best government servants awarded
Bhopal: Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade at Police Ground at Datia district headquarters. Minister Dr. Mishra read out the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s message. Relatives of the martyrs of Kargil war were honoured at the ceremony. Students gave a colourful cultural performance on the occasion.
Public Relations Minister Dr. Mishra hoisted the national flag. He inspected the combined parade. Symbol of peace balloon was blown followed by celebratory firing. About 150 officials/employees were honoured for outstanding work in Datia district at the ceremony. First prize was given to the 29th Brigade of Special Armed Forces for outstanding parade. Minister Dr. Mishra honoured Smt. Somwati Verma and Smt. Prabha Mishra, wives of two jawans who laid down their lives for the country along with 10 Loktantra Rakshaks (Misabandi).
