Revenue cases be registered from Naib Tehsildar to divisional commissioners courts

Bhopal: Chief Secretary BP Singh today conducted divisional review in working of revenue department in Ujjain. Singh issued instructions that process should begin with immediate effect for resolving revenue cases after registering them in courts from Naib Tehsildar to Divisional Commissioner. The Chief Secretary said that review will be conducted again two months later. Concerned revenue officer will be suspended if cases are found without registration.

Presiding officer should inspect their court daily

 Chief Secretary Singh instructed revenue officer that they should inspect their court and see how many cases are registered and the number of cases their reader did not present before them. He said that inspection should be resulted oriented. All registered cases should be recorded in revenue case management system.

Cent percent Patwari bags should be checked

The chief secretary issued instructions to Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars to check all Patwari bags. Office of revenue inspector should be minutely checked. The Chief Secretary told that the state government has decided that a person informing about pending case will be given Rs one lakh cash prize and this amount will be recovered from revenue officer putting the case pending. He asked revenue officers that they should visit more and more villages implementing old revenue system.

 Emphasizing on increasing revenue by continue recovery in diversion, Najul and penalty, the Chief Secretary said officers will be awarded for better work in difficult situation.

 Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey said in the meeting that handwritten record for registration will be ended in near future and revenue cases will be registered only through online process. Pandey said that diversion cases should be resolved in 30 days. Principal Secretary, Public Service Guarantee, Hariranjan Rao said that Gram Panchayat has been empowered to take decision in non-disputed name transfer case. Reading of B-1 is mandatory in every village. Case in revenue court should not be put further for more than three hearings. Secretary, Revenue, P Narhari, informing about RCMS software to revenue officers, said that name transfer and property division cases will be registered through mp online directly.

 Divisional Commissioner MB Ojha told in the meeting that 6577 cases related with demarcation were registered in Ujjain division. Out of them, 5956 cases have been resolved. Total 8076 cases were registered for property division and 5659 of them were resolved. 12100 encroachment cases were registered and 10927 cases of them were resolved. He informed that old cases have been resolved in intensive drive in the division. CM Helpline cases were also reviewed in the meeting.-WTN
