Selection of 192 SC-ST Candidates in Various Government Services

Bhopal: A total of 192 candidates belonging to scheduled caste and tribe category have been selected for various government services through 7 Pre Examination Training Centers functional at divisional head quarters of the state. Minister of State for Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe Welfare Lal Singh Arya was apprised about this during the departmental review meeting. It was informed that training has been imparted to 1959 candidates during last 3 years. Principal Secretary Ashish Upadhyaya was present in the meeting.

Proposal to Introduce New Trades

Arya mentioned that there is a proposal to introduce essential new trades in Training cum Production centers. He issued directives for achieving targets under the various schemes of the department. Arya said that a report of 112 government aided voluntary organizations engaged in educational and welfare activities should be prepared after the inspection. Point wise note should be prepared by the investigators during the inspection. He directed the officials to conduct inspections of all the organizations within 2 months. Moreover, Arya instructed that directives should be issued clearly that any unauthorized person cannot be the superintendent of the hostels. Fix guidelines in this matter. Furthermore, he issued directives to the official to hold discussions with the School Education department for admissions of SC-ST category children in the prestigious schools.

Construction of 179 Buildings through PIU

It was informed that 43 proposals have been sanctioned under the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udhyami yojana and loan to 25 has been distributed. Moreover, it was informed that 311 organisations are functional in private buildings including 47 of Bhopal. Construction of new 179 buildings is underway through PIU and there are 50 seater excellence education centers in 189 blocks.-WTN
