Take Strict Action against Cases of Substandard Fertilisers, Seeds and Pesticides

Bhopal: “Parakh” Video Conference was organized under the Chairmanship of Commissioner Agriculture Production P.C. Meena at Mantralaya today. Meena directed the District Collectors in the video conference that a strict action should be taken to stop black marketing of fertlisers and on substandard samples of fertlisers, seeds and pesticides. Suspend the licenses of the guilty companies and F.I.R. should be lodged if needed, he added.

Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development R.S. Julaniya told the collectors that CM Helpline cases should be redressed on priority at district level. Special attention should be paid on quality and presence in the Mid Day Meal programme. Principal Secretary Agriculture Rajesh Rajora directed the collectors for organizing meetings of Agriculture Permanent committees of Jila Panchayats regularly. Janpad and district wise agriculture status should be reviewed in these meetings.

Principal Secretary Public Health and Family Welfare Smt. Gouri Singh issued directives towards proper arrangements for prevention of swine flu and to start fever OPD in each district hospital. Commissioner Health Smt. Pallavi Jain told the collectors for effective control on sale of acid in the district.

Moreover, Principal Secretary School Education Smt. Deepti Goud said that monitoring should be conducted to ensure schools should commence on time besides presence of teachers. Principal Secretary Women and Child Development J.N. Kansotiya emphasised on need for district collectors’ special attention on Dastak Abhiyan, Ladli Laxmi Yojana and One Stop Center (Sakhi).

Deliberations on National Data Arms License, Integrated Data Base, Adhaar Seeding and Food Grains took place in the video conference. Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Prabhanshu Kamal, Principal Secretary Social Justice Ashok Shah, Principal Secretary Food and Civil Supplies Smt. Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary Home Vivek Sharma and other Senior Officers were present in the conference.-WTN
