Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcoming the verdict of the Supreme Court on triple talaq said that it is a victory of Muslim Mothers and Sisters’ dignity. This is a victory of constitutional rights. He mentioned that practice of triple talaq was a psychological pain and social harassment which was an obstacle in the way of modern society. New era has begun with the decision of the Supreme Court. Self respect of Muslim women has been protected. Giving credit to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making the country emotional towards the triple talaq issue, Chouhan said that new India is taking shape now.-WTN
