August 28 Last Date for M.P. Tourism Award Entries

Bhopal: In order to encourage unique efforts and to promote excellence in the tourism sector, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism has fixed the last date i.e. August 28 towards receiving the entries for M.P. tourism Award -2017. Good response is being given by the concerned persons and organizations for 22 awards being presented for different categories. The entries for the award will be entertained online only. A booklet containing rules, conditions and guidelines related to the process for submitting the entries has also been issued. 

The awards include Best Tour Operators (National), Best Travel Agent (M.P.), Tourism Transport Operators (M.P.), Adventurous and Thrilling Tour Operators, Best Hotel/Heritage Hotel, Best Eco-Friendly hotel, Hotel/Forest Lodge, Best Home Stay, Best Chef of Madhya Pradesh, Convention Centre, Responsible Tourism Project and Best Towns, District Tourism Promotion Council for civic management.

Similarly, awards for Best Tourist Guide, Innovative Tourism Project, M.P. Tourism Friendly Memorials, Tourism Friendly Memorials, Tourist Friendly National Parks/sanctuaries, WSA, tourism Friendly Teerth Sthals, Amusement/Water Park, Best Restaurant, Best Artisan- Art and Craft and Best Travel Writer/Blogger of Madhya Pradesh will be given.

It may be highlighted that in the series of efforts to make Madhya Pradesh as popular and favourite tourism destination, the awards have been instituted by the M.P. tourism Board to honour and promote the innovations and unique efforts being made by the persons/ organizations.
