30 thousand houses to be constructed under first phase of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna in Singrauli district

Bhopal: Thirty thousand houses will be constructed in the first phase under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana in Singrauli district. Construction work is underway. This information was given in District Planning Committee’s meeting held today under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Rajendra Shukla. In-charge Minister Shukla instructed that the construction work to be completed on time with quality. MLAs Ramlallu Vaishya, Kunwar Singh Tekam, Rajendra Meshram and Smt. Saraswati Singh were present in the meeting.
Foundation laying and dedication ceremony
District in-charge Minister Rajendra Shukla performed bhoomi-pujan for construction work worth Rs 66 crores in rural areas and dedicated works worth Rs 24 crores. He also distributed bicycles to 39 workers. The district in-charge minister reviewed sanctioned construction works under DMF fund.
It was informed in the meeting that development works worth Rs 303 crores have been approved in the district under the fund. Technical sanction has been obtained for works worth Rs 277 crores.-WTN
