MoS Sarang hands over cheque to CM Nitish Kumar in Patna
Bhopal: Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Cooperatives Vishwas Sarang today entrusted a cheque of Rs 5 crores on behalf of Madhya Pradesh government for flood victims to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna. Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and MLA Sanjeev Chourasia were also present on the occasion.
MoS Sarang who reached Patna on the directives of CM Chouhan informed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi about various schemes being run in Madhya Pradesh for farmers welfare and development.
MoS Sarang told Kumar that Agriculture Development Rate of Madhya Pradesh was constantly on the rise. Madhya Pradesh government has made effective efforts for environment and river conservation. Sarang also told about the programmes being run to strengthen Gramin Sahakari Saakh Samitis and to increase activities of cooperatives and related institutions in Madhya Pradesh. Sarang gave information about other schemes run by various departments and spoke in favour of fast developing Madhya Pradesh to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. Kumar lauded various schemes of MP and thanked Madhya Pradesh for its assistance to Bihar flood victims.-WTN
