SDOs and Tahsildars Suspended for Negligence towards Redressal of Revenue Cases and Recovery of Diversion’s Arrears

Bhopal: Chief Secretary B.P. Singh while reviewing the redressal of revenue cases and recovery of diversion arrears has issued directives for suspension of 3 SDOs and 2 Tahsildars posted in Indore division with immediate effect. Order has been issued by the Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Dubey in this regard. Also show cause notices are being issued to One SDO and One Tahsildar.

The SDOs who have been suspended as per the directives of the Chief Secretary include Deepak Soni, Shringar Shrivastava and Ajit Shrivastava. Similarly, Tahsildar Rajesh Soni and Smt. Darshini Singh have been suspended. Beside this show cause notices are being issued to SDO Smt. Neeta Rathore and Tahsildar Alok Dahriya.

CS Singh in a divisional meeting of revenue officers said that all the revenue cases should be registered in circle register and portal necessarily. Amount towards diversion and nuzul’s beside penalty should be recovered hundred percent. A stringent action will be taken against the officers towards negligence in redressal of revenue cases and recovery works.

Moreover, Singh during the review meeting issued directives to honour 5 officers of Indore division for best performance including SDO Sushri Bhavya Mittal of Dhar, SDO Rishabh Gupta of Kushi, SDO Khandwa Saraswat Sharma beside Superintendent Land Records of Jhabua Smt. Shweta Jamra, Tahsildar of Alirajpur district Ajmersingh Gour with awards in programmes to be held at Bhopal on November 01, 2017 and January 26, 2018.

Chief Secretary Singh instructed the officials that all revenue cases must be filled in circle register (official register) and revenue case management system (RCMS) necessarily. No case should be left without registration. All revenue cases should be resolved in prescribed time limit. All officers should inspects court themselves and inspect their subordinate offices. He said that no case of mutation, undisputed mutation and non-disputed property division should be kept pending. Death register for name transfer and registration papers for undisputed mutation should be made base for action and bags of all patwari should be checked mandatory. Instructions were issued to hold special Gram Sabha for revenue related cases. It should be ensured to deposit diversion fee in government account in land diversion cases.

Order for diversion should be issued to concerned parties after deposition of the fee. Singh said that special attention should be paid on revenue recovery and 100 percent recovery of diversion amount beside nuzul and penalty.

 Singh told that the vacant posts of Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and Revenue
Inspectors will be filled soon in the state. Jurisdiction area of revenue inspectors is being earmarked again. Vacancies of data entry operator are being filled at district level. The vacancies of the data entry operator are being met from the district level.

 Divisional commissioner Sanjay Dubey, Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey, Commissioner Land Records MK Agrawal, Principal Revenue Commissioner Rajneesh Shrivastava, Secretary to Chief Minister Hariranjan Rao and Secretary Revenue P Narhari were present in the meeting.-WTN
