State Government will Protect Farmers from Every Crisis: CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that farmers need not worry about the state of the crops due to scanty rainfall in some areas of the state. State government will protect farmers from every crisis. During the Beneficiaries’ Convention cum Farmers Seminar held at village Jaitwara of Satna district today, CM Chouhan mentioned the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana (Price difference Payment Scheme) is being launched by the state government to provide reasonable rates of crops to the farmers. Under the scheme, the difference amount of model sale price declared by the state government and minimum support price declared by the union government will be deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers on selling identified crop in notified krishi upaj mandis.

CM Chouhna stated that all the undisputed mutation, demarcation and partition cases will be redressed within next 3 months. A campaign level action is being taken by the revenue department in the entire state. After this, anyone who brings in the notice of the government about the old pending cases will be rewarded with an amount of Rs. One lakh and this amount will be recovered from the guilty concerned officer/employee towards delay in redressal.

Chouhan congratulated the police team for making Chitrakoot region of Satna district free from the terror of dacoits. He mentioned that officers/employees performing best in every field will be rewarded. Moreover action will be taken for removal of slumber team from the services, he added.

Moreover, Chouhan laid emphasis on need for promotion of tourism activities in Chitrakoot region and for developing industrial area with the help of youth entrepreneurs. He made an announcement for starting B.Sc. and B.Com. faculties in Government College –Jaitwara. While issuing instructions for preparing D.P.R. of action plan toward supply of water through tap connections at homes, Chouhan asserted that a sum of Rs. 3 crore will be spent from the Urban Infrastructure head for construction of road and drainage system in different wards of Jaitwara Nagar Parishad. Primary health centre of Jaitwara will be upgraded and modernized. Mini stadiums will be built in Jaitwara and village Chandai according to the population.

Fertiliser Sale center of cooperative society will be started in Jaitwara. Furthermore, Chouhan issued directives for exploring the possibility to make Jaitwara a tahsil and for conducting survey as regard to the availability of land for by-pass. He made announcement for opening I.T.I. in Barondha and construction of road from Galbal to Parasdiya. Chouhan administered pledge to the people present in the convention to build new Madhya Pradesh for building new India.

Bhoomi Poojan and Dedication of Works worth Rs. 10 crore 58 lakh

Chief Minister Chouhan laid foundation and dedicated 6 works worth Rs. 10 crore 58 lakh. Minister for commerce, Industry and Mineral Resources Rajendra Shukl, MP Ganesh Singh, President Jila Panchayat Smt. Sudha Singh, MLAs Shankarlal Tiwari, Narayan Tripathi, Mayor Smt. Mamta Pandey, Chairman Backward Class Finance Development Corporation Pradeep Patel, Chairman Vindhya Development Authority Subhash Singh, Narendra Tripathi beside farmers and villagers in large number were present on the occasion.-WTN
