CM Chouhan offers prayers at Sri Badhwale Ganesh temple with family

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached the Badh Wale Ganesh temple on the banks of the river Betwa in Vidisha along with family and offered prayers. He took part in the Sundarkand at the temple premises and narrate doha-choupais also. He took part in the Havan Yagya at the temple accompanied by Smt. Sadhana Singh offered purnahuti. The Chief Minister also served food and Prasad to kanyas at the bhandara (community lunch) organised in the temple premises.
Public Works Minister Rampal Singh Rajput, Minister of State Suryaprakash Meena, Vidisha Nagar Palika President Mukesh Tandon, District Panchayat President Toran Singh Dangi, Cooperative Bank President Shyamsundar Sharma, public representatives and elite citizens were also present on the occasion.
Donation of food- the biggest donation
On the 35th foundation day of the Public Bhojnalaya in Vidisha, Chief Minister Chouhan said that offering food the hungry is the biggest donation in this era. Social workers have been extending this service dedicatedly for the last several years. He said that serving food at the rate of Re 1 to attendants accompanying patients at the hospital premises is itself a remarkable service.
Chouhan said that this public bhojnalaya is the inspiration behind the State’s Deendayal Rasoi Yojana. Addressing Padmashri Sanjeev Kapoor who was also present during the programme, the Chief Minister told Kapoor to as sist in spreading the state’s delicacies at the national-international level. Government will extend all possible help to him, he assured.
Kapoor said that he had never seen any sanstha serving food with so much love. There should be more such public bhojanalayas. He said that he considered it his good fortune to do his bit for Madhya Pradesh.
CM Chouhan released a book ‘After God’ based on health services in the programme. Sanstha president Mohan Agarwal, office-bearers, public representatives and elite citizens were present during the programme.-WTN
