Teachers must develop good culture in children along with education

Bhopal: School Education Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah said that it is the responsibility of the teachers to prepare the country’s future helmsmen. Teachers should do the work developing good culture besides educating students. The School Education Minister was addressing a meeting of Principal, Head Masters of Middle Schools and Jan Shikshaks of Government High School and Higher Secondary Schools at Chitrakoot in Satna district on Tuesday.

Shah said that the state government has given teachers the status of nation’s builders. Instructions have been given to government schools to hoist the national flag and also sing the national song every day in the schools to generate a feeling of patriotism among students.

Students to say ‘Jai Hind’ instead of ‘Yes Sir’

The School Education Minister said that on an experimental basis, students will be inspired to say ‘Jai Hind’ instead of Yes Sir in government schools in Satna district from October 1st. If the new system brings good results, it will be implemented in the state also in future. Shri Shah said that the government schools will be named after martyrs.

The Minister told the teachers to make effective efforts to increase public participation. He said that the development works can be done in government schools through public participation. He instructed teachers to organize regular meetings with parents and guardians of students in the schools. Information was taken about the implementation of “Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh” and “Kahani Utsav” of Department of School Education at the meeting.-WTN
