Work Allotted to Infinite Energy Solutions According to Tender’s Terms and Conditions

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam has clarified position as regard to the tender of Rooftop based Solar Photo Voltaic Power Plant. According to the corporation, the work has been allotted to M/s Infinite Energy Solutions only as per the terms and conditions of the tender.
It was informed by the corporation that tender was issued for rate standardization of total 30 megawatt capacity plant of various capacities and types and to select eligible units on June 25, 2016. Proposals were invited online under the tender. A total of 16 units participated in the tender. While scrutiny of the proposals, it was found that the proposal of one of the unit is complete and there were discrepancies of some or other kind in other remaining 15 proposals. In such a case the above mentioned tender was cancelled and new tender was issued on November 11, 2016. Total 30 units participated in this tender and proposals of 29 units were found to be acceptable. Financial proposals of these units were opened on January 27, 2017. Minister Paras Jain was not holding charge of the New and Renewable Energy department at the time of first tender issued on June 25, 2016 and till its opening.
After analysis of rates received in the tender for plants of various capacities and types, it was found that the received rates are 3 to 26 percent less in comparison to the bench mark set by the union government and are 31 to 38 percent less than the rates previously standardized by the corporation. M/s Infinite Energy Solutions located at Ujjain was one among the units who had participated in the tender, which had participated in the category D under the tender. Total 14 units participated in this category. Work has been allotted to M/s Infinite energy Solutions owing to minimum rate in category D.
It may be mentioned that M/s Infinite Energy Solutions succeeded for work of 0.75 megawatt capacity only against a total 30 megawatt capacity.
While allotting work, attention has been paid that work of surrounding area should be allotted to the unit which is already functioning in that area since earlier or located in that area. This procedure has adopted equally for all the units.-WTN
