Division level review of Revenue Department to begin again

Bhopal: Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh directed divisional commissioners and collectors through “Parakh” video conferencing to ensure better implementation of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. He told them to send in their reports on time keeping mind the drought situation in the districts. The Chief Secretary told the collectors no to entrust such work to teachers which disrupts the main work of teaching. Singh said the divisional review of Revenue Department will be started again. Review of Bhopal division will be held in the first week of October.

Giving information about Happiness Department, Additional Chief Secretary Energy Iqbal Singh Bais said that work is being done by this department based on self-inspiration. Anandam Sthal programme is being held at 172 places and Alpa Viram programme at 49 places in the state. So far 135 Anand Clubs have been constituted in the state. In addition to this government sevaks will be given a remuneration of Rs 20,000 by the government for acquiring training in Panchgani, Bangalore and Coimbatore.

Giving the status of redressal of complaints through Public Grievances Redressal Department, Secretary to the Chief Minister Hariranjan Rao said that an integrated system of complaints obtained from separate places has been started. Now complaints received on CM Helpline, complaints received during the Chief Minister’s visits, Chief Minister’s app, Collector Jan Sunwai and online complaints can be viewed at the same place. Very soon the complaints received at public welfare camps in the districts will also be linked to the integrated system. Total 12 lakh 46 thousand 628 complaints have been received so far out of which 42 percent reflects development while 41.35 percent were found to be satisfactory.

Principal Secretary Urban Development Malay Shrivastava told to give priority to availability of drinking water from water resources in urban areas. He said that proposals of Rs 16 crores have been prepared for drinking water. Schemes including Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Gram Nal Jal Yojana, status of integrated database and Aadhar seeding in Public Distribution System and Aadhar identity cards of school students would also be reviewed.
