Normal Rainfall in 24 Districts and Below Normal Rainfall in 27 Districts of State

Bhopal: Normal rainfall has been recorded in 24 districts of the state from June 01 to September 22 during the current monsoon. There are 27districts in the state which have received below normal rainfall. Till date 744.6 mm normal average rainfall has been recorded in comparison to average rainfall of 910.5 mm of the state.
Districts where normal rainfall is recorded include Katni, Chhindwara, Seoni, Rewa, Singrauli, Indore, Dhar, Jhabua, Khargone, Badwani, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Dewas, Agar-Malwa, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Bhopal, Sehore, Rajgarh and Betul.
Districts where below normal rainfall is recorded include Jabalpur, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sidhi, Satna, Shahdol, Anuppur, Umaria, Alirajpur, Shajapur, Morena, Sheopur, Bhind, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Datia, Raisen, Vidisha, Hoshangabad and Harda.-WTN
