School Education minister Kunwar Vijay Shah launches Hindi Olympiad website

Bhopal: 'Hindi Olympiad' will be organised for improving proficiency in Hindi in students of all government middle schools in Madhya Pradesh. Regular students of class VII and VIII can participate in the Olympiad. School Education Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah today launched website of Hindi Olympiadwww.hindiolympiad.org at Mantralaya. Interested students can send online applications through this website and head of concerned school.
School education minister Kunwar Vijay Shah said that organising Hindi Olympiad will increase respect toward the official language Hindi and create interest in reading Hindi books. He said that Olympiad will increase students' knowledge and reasoning power.
Those students will be able to participate in Hindi Olympiad who are regular in class VII and VIII iin 2017-18 session. Hindi Olympiad test is free of cost.
Application in this regard can be submit through website till October 8. Olympiad examination will be held in two phases. The first phase will be held onDecember 12 in selected examination centres. Students qualifying in the first phase will participate in the second phase examination on February 15, 2018. Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSK) has asked headmasters of middle schools to ensure more and more participation of students in Hindi Olympiad.
Principal Secretary, Smt Dipti Gaud Mukharjee, commissioner, public instructions, Neeraj Dubey, and secretary, board of secondary education, Ajay Gangwar were present on the occasion.-WTN
