Knee Replacement of Jamuna Bai to be carried out at Government’s Expense

Bhopal: Knee replacement of 60 year poor old lady Smt. Jamuna Bai, who is a resident of Gadde Wala Mohalla Virpur Sikander Kampu of Gwalior will be carried out at the government’s expenses. An assistance amount of Rs. 99 thousand has been sanctioned recently to Smt. Jamuna Bai from the District Illness Assistance Fund. This amount will be sent through e-payment to the concerned hospital Jayarogya Gwalior. The knee replacement surgery will take place at this hospital.
Smt. Jamuna Bai wife of Late Babulal Gupta who belongs to the below poverty line category was suffering from the knee illness since long time. When she came to know that the state government provides assistance for treatment of serious illness, then she reached directly to the Chief Medical and Health Officer to narrate her knee problem. After examining, the Chief Medical and Health Officer found that her knee needs to be replaced and sanctioned the amount of Rs. 99 thousand from the District Illness Assistance Fund.
