Mukhya Mantri Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana Nearly 6 lakh farmers get registered

Bhopal: From Kharif-2017 in Madhya Pradesh, for the first time in the country, so far 6 lakh farmers have got registered in soyabean, groundnuts, sesame, Ramtil, corn, moong, urad and arhar in the Mukhya Mantri Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana of the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department. Registrations under Mukhya Mantri Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana had started since September 11. Farmers will be able to get registered under this scheme till October 15. State’s Principal Secretary Farmer Welfare Rajesh Rajoura told that 15 lakh farmers are expected to get registered under the yojana till October 15. Large number of farmers are getting registered in Ujjain, Dewas, Rajgarh and Sehore district.
The registration work is being done in the state’s 3500 primary agriculture cooperative societies who register e-procurement of wheat and paddy. Registration work has started in 257 krishi upaj mandis from October 4 in state. Principal Secretary Agriculture Shri Rajoura told that the market rate of corn is Rs 100-150 less than the minimum support price (MSP), Rs 800-1000 less in Tuar and Rs 100-250 in soyabean per quintal. Because of this farmers will get the benefit of Mukhya Mantri Bhavantar Yojana. About 4 lakh farmers have got registered under the yojana for soyabean, about 1 lakh 50 thousand for urad and about 50 thousand farmers for other crops.
The farmer has to be a bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh to take the benefit of the Mukhya Mantri Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. The portal for the scheme has also been prepared. For registering on the portal, it is mandatory for the farmer to register his aadhar card no., samagra no. bank account no. and mobile number.
