CM Chouhan Inaugurates Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana from Khurai

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the State Level Inaugural programme of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana in Krishi Upaj Mandi of Khurai of district Sagar today said that the scheme will work as a protective shield for the farmers. Under the scheme, the difference amount of the crops to be sold at less than the support price will be paid directly in the bank accounts of the farmers. The farmers will be provided full benefit of their hard labour. Chouhan dedicated and laid foundation of several development works costing Rs. One hundred crore approximately on this occasion. The programme was broadcasted live in the entire state.

CM Chouhan stated that the scheme is being inaugurated today in all the 257 mandis of the state. Farmers are working hard in Bundelkhand. The state is leading in the country in agriculture sector. Today is a historical and golden day for the farmers of the state. Loan without interest is being provided by the government to the farmers in the state. Not only this, farmer has to repay Rs. 90 thousand only against a loan of Rs. One lakh now. Farming has to be made a profitable occupation. Wheat of Khurai has special identity in the entire country.

Moreover, Chouhan asserted that provision of irrigation facility is priority of the government. Irrigation facility is being provided on 40 lakh hectare area in the state.

Approval has been given to the scheme of Bina Complex. An amount of Rs. 3735 crore approximately will be spent for this to facilitate irrigation on about 2.5 lakh hectare area. Moreover, approval for Parkul, Kadan Medium Projects has also been given. Similarly, approval will be given for several small irrigation projects. Efforts are being made to start Ken-Betwa link project. Reasonable price for their agriculture produces will be ensured. Income of the farmers cannot be increased till they get reasonable rates for their produces.

Furthermore, Chouhan said that the government has purchased onion at the rate of Rs. 8 per k.g. The government does not wish to let the farmers’ labour go futile. We will not let the crops to be sold less than the support price. Farmers will sell crops directly in the mandi and the difference amount of support price will be deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers. Giving an example of Urad, Moong, Soybean and Maize being purchased less than the support price, he informed in detail about the scheme. Chouhan urged the farmers for registration under the scheme. He mentioned that this scheme will be implemented for horticulture crops also.

Chouhan informed that a Price Stabilisation Fund of Rs. One thousand crore has been formed in the state. Crop Girdavali Module App has been prepared. All the districts of Bundelkhand have been declared drought affected. The burn out transformers will be replaced on depositing 20 percent amount. Krishak Udhyami Yojana will be implemented, under the scheme a loan of Rs. 10 lakh to 2 crore will be provided. Shri Chouhan asserted that agriculture equipments of this region are famous in the entire country.

Therefore, industrial area will be established in Khurai. Copy of Khasra and B-1 will be provided to the farmers at home. He further stated that undisputed mutation, partition and demarcation cases are being cleared on war footing. He mentioned that the persons who are performing best will be awarded and action will be taken against corrupt persons. Permanent electricity connections will be provided to 4 lakh farmers till 2018. Mukhya Mantri Solar Pump Yojana will be implemented. Cash payment to the farmers within prescribed time will be ensured. The state government is with the farmers in the crisis and they should not worry. Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana is a protective shield for the farmers which will create history. Mentioning about the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana, he assured for full cooperation for students’ education.

Chief Minister Chouhan mentioned that the colleges will be opened in Bandri and Khimlasa. Agriculture College will be started in Khurai from the next session. He informed that approval for Bina river project has been given. I.T.I in Malthone, industrial area in Khurai and divisional office of electricity board will be established. He appealed to the farmers to educate their sons and daughters and laid emphasis on sanitation. Chouhan said that 33 percent girls will be employed in police services.

Chouhan inaugurated the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana waving green flag. He also distributed the sale letters of the scheme. Moreover, Chouhan distributed subsidy amount of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana’s certificates, cheques of Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udhyami Yojana, cheques of Mukhya Mantri Swa-Rozgar Yojana beside sanction letters and laptops for working as bank sakhi under the Madhya Pradesh Livelihood Mission.

Minister for Home and Transport Bhupendra Singh expressed gratitude towards the public present in large number in the programme. He said that massive development has taken place in Khurai area during the tenure of CM Chouhan. Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana is being started together in the entire state today. He expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister Chouhan for approval of Bina Complex and for approval of various development works. Singh put forth demands for starting colleges in Bandri and Khimlasa of Bina, 60 bed hospital and I.T.I in Malthone, divisional office of electricity board in Khurai and establishment of 33 k.v. sub-station at Barodia etc. He again expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister for dedication of 100 bed hospital in Khurai besides dedication and laying foundation of various development works costing Rs.One hundred crore approximately.
