Lokayukt Appointment is according to the Act

No Irrelevant Action Taken: PR Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra
Bhopal: Appointment has been made on the post of Lokayukt in compliance to the Madhya Pradesh Lokayukt Act 1981. According to the section 3(1)(A) of the Act, Lokayukt should be appointed after the consultation with Chief Justice of the High Court and Leader of the opposition, which has been made in this case. According to the section 3(2)(A) of the Act, the person who held post of High Court Judge could be appointed on the post of Lokayukt. Therefore, according to the Act, there is no irrelevancy in this appointment. Minister for Public Relations and Spoke Person of Madhya Pradesh Government Dr. Narottam Mishra has clarified that appointment of Lokayukt has been made according to the rules.-Windowtonews
