Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana will Bring Prosperity and Happiness in Farmers’ Lives: CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while laying foundation of Chanderi-Mungawali Lift Irrigation Project costing Rs. 389.77 crore in Mungawali said that the farmers will get sufficient water for irrigation by this project. Agriculture fields will flourish with crops. Presenting certificate of registration to the farmers under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, Chouhan said that this scheme will bring happiness and prosperity in the lives of the farmers that under this scheme full benefit of farmers’ hard labour will be ensured. We will not let the crops to be sold less than the support price. Farmers will sell their agriculture produces directly in the mandis. The difference amount of support price will be deposited by the state government in the bank accounts of the farmers.

CM Chouhan further mentioned that provision of irrigation facility for the farmers is the topmost priority of the government. Price Stabilisation Fund of Rs. One thousand crore has been established in the state. Krishak Yuva Udhyami Yojana will be implemented. Under the scheme, loan of Rs. 10 lakh upto 2 crore will be provided and guarantee of the loan will be taken by the state government. Informing about the various schemes for the farmers, Chouhan stated that the state government is providing interest free loans to the farmers. Copy of Khasra and B-1 will be provided at home.

Moreover, Chouhan said that Ashok Nagar has been declared drought affected district. He made announcement to make gram panchayat Bahadurpur as new tahsil and for starting up-mandi here, construction of bye-pass in Mungawali, increasing bed capacity to 100 beds in Mungawali hospital, to provide nagar parishad status to tahsil Piprai and opening of college, to start P.G. courses in Mungawali college and for opening college in Nagar Panchayat Shadhora. Chouhan also laid foundation and dedicated development works worth Rs. 400.36 crore in the programme.

Minister for Public Relations and Water Resources Dr. Narottam Mishra, Minister District in-charge Jaibhan Singh Pawayya, MP Prabhat Jha, MLA Gopilal Jatav, President Jila Panchayat Smt.
