Rs. 180 Crore Sanctioned for 225 Small Irrigation Projects in M.P.

Bhopal: Cabinet Meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today gave permission to continue repair, strengthening and reconstruction programmes of Small Irrigation Projects being carried out by the Water Resources department for 3 years i.e. till 2019-20. Under the programme, the 78 thousand hectare irrigation facility will be restored by strengthening 225 small irrigation projects. An expenditure of Rs. 180 crore has been estimated for this programme.

Over 116 crore Approved for Special Rehabilitation Package

The cabinet has taken a decision to give special rehabilitation package to the farmers and displaced persons of Kharmer Medium Irrigation Project according to the Land Acquisition Act 2013 and Rehabilitation Policy 2002. A sum of Rs. 116.84 will be incurred on this.

Continuity of Posts

The cabinet has taken a decision for continuity of 11 temporary posts of various cadres from March One 2017 to February 28, 2022 under the Boiler Directorate –Indore. Beside this permission for continuation of temporary posts i.e. 6 daily wages watchmen and 6 farrash posts from March One, 2017 to February 2022 under the Registrar Firms and Societies Madhya Pradesh.

Contractual School Teachers

The Cabinet has taken a decision for amendments in Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Contractual School Teacher (Employment and Contract Terms and Conditions) Rules, 2005 to appoint guests teachers on posts of contractual school teachers.
Twenty five percent vacant posts of the total vacant posts will be kept reserved for guest teachers cadre according to the prescribed procedure after the assessment of vacant posts of contractual school teachers. Such guest teachers who had worked in the government schools as guest teachers for 3 academic sessions and their working days are not less than 200 days could appear in eligibility test for vacant posts kept reserve for the guest teachers cadre Such applicants will get exemption of 9 years in age limit. In case of non-availability of guest teachers/applicants to fill these vacant posts mentioned above, the vacant posts will be filled by other eligible applicants.

Purchase of Onion

The cabinet has given approval for decisions and action taken from time to time by the government related to purchase of onion, transport, distribution and its redressal according to the decision of state government taken in the year 2017.

Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development

Moreover, the cabinet has approved the action of the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development department according to the directives given from time to time to ensure sale of summer moong and urad.-Windowtonews
