Directives to Keep Vigilance on Government Land’ Transfer Cases

Bhopal: Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh held meeting of the Revenue Officers of the Gwalior Division at Shivpuri. Reviewing the district wise revenue cases, Singh told the officials to keep vigilance on government land transfer cases. He gave directives for prompt action regarding redressal of the revenue cases.

Singh told the revenue officers to issue orders only after depositing of amount in diversion cases. Check the bags of Patwaris and take a strict action against the careless patwaris. Moreover, presiding officers should inspect their courts thoroughly and conduct campaigns to inspect patwaris’ halqa. During the campaign, conduct surprise checking of patwaris’ bags and Collectors of declared drought affected districts should send report immediately, he added.

Mentioning about the services under the Madhya Pradesh Public Services Guarantee Act, Tourism Secretary Hariranjan Rao said that services should be provided within stipulated time limit to the applicants. He also directed the collectors to inspect the modern record room. Commissioner Land Records M.K. Agrawal mentioned that step to suspend the revenue officers who are not submitting the mutation registers should be taken. Revenue Commissioner Rajnish Shrivastava also addressed the meeting.

Divisional Commissioner S. N. Rupala informed about the revenue courts’ inspections conducted in the division through power point presentation. He informed that effective announcement of B-1 has been made in all the 5 thousand 53 villages of the division. Total 77 thousand 401 mutation cases were received in the division and out of this 76 thousand 236 cases were resolved.

Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey, Secretary Tourism Hariranjan Rao, Commissioner Gwalior Division S.N. Rupala, District Collectors of the Division and Revenue Officers were present in the meeting.-Windowtonews
