Physically challenged Ratanlal Bhil gets pucca house

Bhopal: Handicapped Ratanlal Bhil and his family was living his life in a kachha house at Berkheda-Hada village in Neemuch district. He worked as a labourer to make both ends meet. The family lives in fear of poisonous insects and rain water destroying their house as it was kachha.
Ratanlal told the Janpad Panchayat Neemuch Secretary about his problem. Panchayat Secretary gave him a patient ear and assured to help him. He got Ratanlal registered under Prime Minister’s Rural Housing Scheme. The Janpad Panchayat provided Ratanlal with Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand in three installments of Rs 40,000 each. Ratanlal himself worked as a labourer to build his own pucca house for which he received remuneration under MNREGA scheme.
Local MLA Dilip Singh Parihar organized a griha pravesh programme for physically challenged Ratanlal recently. Now the family is free of fear from poisonous insects and rain water seepage.-Windowtonews
