Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Swaminarayan temple at New Jersey on the third day of his US tour and joined the evening arti. The Chief Minister prayed for peace and prosperity of the state.
Top officials of the temple management welcomed the Chief Minister and his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh Chouhan and apprised them with the history and spiritual importance of the temple construction.
The Chief Minister said that he was fortunate to have visited the grand temple of Swaminarayan. He experienced spiritual peace at the temple. He said that this temple was doing the job of keeping the new generation of Indians settled in America connected with their roots and culture. He said that this temple that enshrined belief, sense of sacrifice and traditions towards religion is more like a cultural university. Priests at the temple conducted a special abhishek for CM Chouhan and his wife.-Windowtonews
