Cattle owners should reap maximum benefit from Gokul Mahotsav

Bhopal: Animal Husbandry Minister Antar Singh Arya has appealed to the state’s cattle owners to reap maximum benefits from the Gokul Mahotsav beginning from October 28 on the occasion of Gopashtami. Arya will inaugurate the first phase of the state-level month-long Gokul Mahotsav 2017-18 at the Veterinary premises at Kalapipal of Shajapur district.

The Gokul Mahotsav is being observed mainly to provide information to cattle owners about the advanced scientific methods for animal husbandry to make the profession more beneficial, to provide veterinary services, medicines, treatment for infertility, immunisation etc. from village-to-village and from door-to-door and resolving the issues related to animals. During the Mahotsav, beneficiary–oriented schemes are widely publicized and cattle-owners from far-flung areas are also benefitted.
