CM Chouhan to Reach India from America Tour on October 29

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan after a weeklong tour of America is reaching India on October 29. He will reach Mumbai in the afternoon and will proceed from Mumbai by Government aircraft to reach Bhopal at 5.00 p.m. Owing to the America tour of the Chief Minister, relations of Non-Resident Indians have strengthened with Madhya Pradesh. While praising the progress of Madhya Pradesh, several industrial groups and companies have expressed their interest for investment.

It may be highlighted that the Chief Minister Chouhan was invited specially to address the inaugural session of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Forum being organized at the birth anniversary of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya by Foundation for India Diaspora Studies U.S.A. with cooperation of Indian Embassy. Chouhan had reached Washington D.C., America on October 22.

During the visit Chouhan also held discussions with the companies which have expressed interest for investment in Madhya Pradesh. He also interacted with the industrialists and with the representatives of industrial groups who have showed interest in the investment in Madhya Pradesh under the aegis of U.S. India Business Strategic Forum and extended invitation to them to visit state.

In the inaugural session of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Forum Chief Minister Chouhan said that human beings’ inner power and peace have battered. The Integral Humanism philosophy Pt. Deendayal Upadhya has become more relevant in this condition. Chouhan asserted that strategies and development programmes being implemented in Madhya Pradesh for the upliftment of poor are inspired by the integral humanism philosophy of Pt. Deendaya Upadhyaya.

Women Empowerment Lauded

Highlighting the efforts being made for women empowerment in Madhya Pradesh, Chouhan stated that daughters are not considered as burden now. Mindset of the people has changed. Madhya Pradesh has gone far ahead in women empowerment. First Hindu Member of United State Congress Smt. Tulsi Gabbard praised Chief Minister Chouhan for his innovative efforts towards women empowerment. Chouhan also informed Non-Resident Indians about the world biggest river conservation campaign ‘Narmada Seva Yatra’ and deliberated with them on its importance.

During the Business Seminar being organized by the America-India Strategic Partnership Forum , CM Chouhan mentioned that new industrial policy of Madhya Pradesh is completely industry friendly . All the required infrastructure facilities for the industrial development are available in Madhya Pradesh. Strategy to double the farmers’ income is being implemented, he added.

In the mean time, Chouhan reached Swaminarayan Temple located in New Jersey and prayed for the peace and prosperity of Madhya Pradesh. He also visited Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Center of Tandon School of Engineering at Brooklyn campus of New York University. Chouhan discussed on the scope for setting up the same incubation center in the campuses of universities in Madhya Pradesh and sought New York University’ cooperation for providing knowledge and technology in this regard.

“Friends of M.P.” Summit on January 4-5

While addressing the “Friends of M.P.” Seminar being organised at Consulate General of India New York Chief Minister Chouhan said that ‘Friends of M.P.” Summit will be organized in the state on January 4 and 5, 2018. He expressed gratitude towards the Non-Resident Indians residing in New York and New Jersey cities for their contribution to extend the activities of ‘Friend of M.P.’ Forum. Beside this, Chouhan also held discussions with the experts to accelerate the pace of development in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Executive Officer of New York Hotel Association Vijay Dandpani, Prof. Gurumurthy Kalyanram of MIT and with the delegation of Columbia University.-Windowtonews
