More than 1 crore 30 lakh digitally signed caste certificates issued
Bhopal: Providing timely service to citizens is the State government’s top priority. The implementation of “Madhya Pradesh Delivery of Public Services Guarantee Act” is a unique initiative of the state government. Citizens are being provided with 372 services of 42 state government departments under the Act that promotes good governance. For this 413 Public Service Centres and 23 thousand M.P. Online kiosks related to this are providing services to citizens in the state.
Through the Act so far more than 5 crore applications have been registered online and services provided to the citizens. For effective implementation and better monitoring of the Act, the Public Service Management Department has established a separate data analytics team and prepared a dash-board. A digitally signed repository of certificates of services to be issued online has been prepared. This will enable citizens to download certificates from the portal in future if need arises.
Digital signatures of over 12 thousand officials
Digital signatures have been made of more than 12 thousand officials in the state aimed at providing digitally signed service. A campaign was launched in the state from 2014 and more than 1 crore 30 lakh coloured laminated digitally signed caste certificates of school students belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Tribe and Other Backward Class were distributed free-of-cost.
Under the Act, free internet facility has been provided in offices from the district level to block level of notified departments through SWAN and computer/hardware has been made available in revenue offices. The MPCARS project funded by the World Bank is being run by the department. Under this, important works like Service Delivery Simplification (GPR), Data Analysis and Office Automation of various departments are being done.
For the active participation of citizens in government and administration, the mp.my.gov portal is being run under State Public Service Agency on the lines of My Gov portal started by the Government of India.
Redressal of problems of citizens through C.M. Helpline and Samadhan Online is being intensively monitored. Ranking of districts and departments in C.M.
