Journalists’ Delegation from Maharashtra Meets MoS Tourism Patwa

Bhopal: A delegation of journalists from Mahrashtra called on the Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge) Surendra Patwa today. Patwa discussed with the delegation on important changes came in the field of tourism and facilities being provided to the tourists in the state.
Patwa informed that Madhya Pradesh in the leadership of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has become first state of the country, which has been honoured with Best Tourism State National Award constantly since the last 3 years. The M.P. Tourism has been honoured with the Hall of Fame Award by the President. Patwa further informed that Madhya Pradesh Tourism has also received one more award for excellent participation in ‘Paryatan Parva’. He described these awards as the result of tireless efforts of the entire team of the department, hard work and team spirit.
The Additional Managing Director of Tourism Board Shrikant Pandey deliberating about the Tourism Policy-2016, informed that the scenario has changed entirely after the implementation of this policy. Action is being taken in the Tourism Board for making subsidy payment within fixed time period.
The Managing Director of Tourism Development Corporation O.P. Chowdhary gave presentation on the activities of the corporation. A set of printed material published by the Mahrashtra state was also presented to Patwa by the delegation on this occasion.-Windowtonews
