Disappointed and angry after the defeat in the Lok Sabha Elections, Rahul Gandhi had offered his resignation, and gave Congress party one month's time to choose the new president. If Congress party has lost in two Lok Sabha Elections, it does not mean that the Congress will lose even further. The Congress needs a strong leadership at this time, which will give the confidence to the frustrated and desperate Congress workers after defeat in the Lok Sabha Elections. In such a situation, accepting the defeat of the Lok Sabha Elections, Rahul Gandhi was to lead the Congress in the states with full strength in the elections, but Rahul Gandhi seems to be avoiding this big responsibility.
