AUG 03 (WTN) – ‘Tulsi Pooja’ is considered to be of great importance in Hinduism. Tulsi (Basil) worshiping brings positive thinking in life. But it has been said in the scriptures that Tulsi Pooja should be in proper way, because if Tulsi Pooja is done in wrong way, there may be a loss instead of profit.
Let's know what is the principle of Tulsi Pooja?
It is auspicious to plant Tulsi on any Thursday.
Kartik month is considered as the best to plant Tulsi.
It is best to plant Tulsi in the middle of the house or courtyard.
You can plant Tulsi even in the balcony of bed room.
It has been said in the scriptures that watering to the Tulsi plant should be performed only in the morning.
It is auspicious to burn ghee lamp (Deepak) under the Tulsi plant at evening.
Precautions at the time of Tulsi worshiping
Tulsi leaves should always be broken in the morning.
On Sunday, the lamp (Deepak) should not be burned under the Tulsi plant.
Offering a ‘Tulsi Dal’ to Lord Vishnu and their incarnations is beneficial.
The Lord Ganesha and Goddess Durga should never be offered Tulsi anytime.
