WTN- Shrimp is considered to be seafood. Many love to eat shrimps here like other seafood as prawns, crab, lobster etc. Well amazingly it’s true that shrimp’s heart is located on its head. Actually the heart of shrimp is located on its thorax reason just after the head but it seems as situated in its head because the head & thorax is totally covered with a single exoskeleton only.
This is because the shrimp’s thorax can be mistaken as still part of the shrimps head. Normally we see the shrimp divided only into 2 parts, the head and the tail.
It doesn’t mean that Shrimp’s brain is located on its chest…. It is actually located on the shrimp’s true head, just after its eyes. – Window To News
