The Super Moon is a viral topic all over the Social media. Being the first and the last of this year the beautiful pictures from distinct destinations from across the world of the supermoon is viral. Skygazers had the lovely treat for the eyes over the weekend. While the world rejoices in the beauty of the moon, it was not greeted by all; supermoon swoon shatters as astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson called it over Hyped.
The Astrophysicist took on to his twitter handle throwing introspect as he shatters the hype calling it, "the embarrassment to everything else we call super," jotting down few examples like Supernova, Supercollider, Superman, Super Mario Bros. Astrophysicist. This month’s “Super” Moon is to be 16.1 inches as compared to the last month’s Full Moon which was a 16.0-inch pizza, if a sixteen point one-inch pizza is “super" to you, compared with a sixteen-inch pizza then we have an issue with vocabulary.". This month's “Super Moon” is 1% brighter than last month’s non-Super Moon.
FYI: The very concept of a Super Moon is an embarrassment to everything else we call super: Supernova, Supercollider, Superman, Super Mario Bros.
