July 5 (WTN)- 31-year-old Aaron Gibbons of Arviat, Nunavut, Canada was killed by a polar bear on the west coast of Hudson Bay.
Gibbons' family members say that he died protecting his children from the animal.
Aaron Gibbons, reportedly urged his daughters to run for safety while he put himself in front of the bear.
Relatives say the man put himself between his children and the bear, but was mauled and later died from his injuries. He was unarmed at the time of the attack
