A dog who rescued a sick toddle when she was choking by waking her mom who was overly tired and was awake whole night due to the sick conditions of her daughter. Dog RUFUS has been admired as a hero as he rescued Betsy 21month, by alerting her mom Emily Gunnion.
RUFUS the labrador and springer spaniel cross breed, began barking and tugged mom by arm and tried to alert her when her little daughter Betsy was choking on her own vomit at their home in Moss, Macclesfield. Ms Gunnion said as reported by a famous daily,” she woke up realizing something was wrong and ran over to Betsy's bed in time to clear her throat.
The cafe manager said she had been up all night looking after Betsy, who was suffering with a stomach bug.She said Rufus, was a 'lifesaver'”. 'He and Betsy are best of friends but we will have to let him go to his forever home’. She wishes to shelter Rufus for life however cannot as she already had two dogs .Ms Gunnion is in volunteer services for Labradors in need association. She added, 'Rufus is so clever, he sensed something was wrong. I dread to think what would have happened if he hadn't been there”.-WTN
